I've been holding back on you. About two years ago I made these 4 cloth art doll busts. Each was meant to be a study in facial expression.
And now I'm not only going to let you see them, but I'm selling them in my Etsy shop.
First of all there is "Serenity". Her lifted chin and closed eyes make her look serene. Her applied eyelids and applied chiffon eyebrows and lips make her a little bit different. You can read more detail about Serenity here.
Then there's "Mischief". Don't let the innocent lace collar fool you - she's up to something! You can read more about how Mischief was created here.
Then because I like to keep you guessing I made Mischief all over again but this time in a doe suede knit instead of my usual cotton batik fabric. See how the fabric changes the face so much? You can read more detail about this cloth doll bust here.
And last but not least is this very calm lady. With her hair gathered into a net at the nape of her neck, she is a study in period restraint. Get more detail about this one of a kind doll bust here.
These are the very last of the original cloth art dolls I have, so if you want to own one of my dolls - here is your last chance.
I hope you like them!
