If you been eagerly awaiting more details about my Oops-a-Daisy Christmas Tree Ornament Elves class in Ontario, Canada well, wait no longer. Here are the details of exactly where, when and what I'll be teaching.
Where: Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada (Ingersoll is located just off Highway 401 in Southwestern Ontario, 10 minutes East of London, Ontario) at my parents home, in my mother's large training room
When: Saturday November 17th – Sunday November 18th, 2012 - 9am-4pm with a one hour lunch break each day.
What class: Oops-a-Daisy Christmas Tree Ornament Elves as featured in the Festive 2012 issue of A Needle Pulling Thread magazine
When Santa went back up the chimney these little elves got left behind, scrambling for cover amid the branches of a Christmas tree. Santa’s little helpers got another nasty surprise when the cat knocked the Christmas tree and “Oops-a-daisy!” they almost fell off! Hanging on for dear life and frozen in place so no one will notice them, they look just like adorable Christmas decorations that Santa left behind. Only the cat knows better.
The class will guide you through making your own trio of 12" (30.5cm) cloth Christmas tree elves. Students will be supplied with three different face templates pre-printed directly onto fabric so that all you have to do is colour them in. So, if like many people, you find drawing faces intimidating, you can still make this trio of Christmas ornament elves that will delight your family and friends this holiday season.
This class is suitable for all levels of doll maker from beginners through to the more experienced, only the ability to use a sewing machine is required. You should leave the class with at least one elf completed and ready to take its place amidst your holiday decorations.
There will be no homework for this class.
