I am sick. The kind of sick that makes you brain-dead, so if I say something stupid, bear with me. This week's Freebie Friday features Shiva (or as they are known here in the UK, Markal) paint-sticks. I have some but have yet to have a good play. If you fancy trying these oil based textile paints in stick-form, here are some free tutorials to get you going.
Shelly Stoke of Cedar Canyon Textiles is regarded as one of the experts in using Shiva paint sticks and she has several free tutorials on how to use paint sticks here. Her book is really good by the way.
I like this tutorial From This is My Brain on Quilts which has great step by step photography on how to use paint sticks.
